With a steep, 76-degree seat tube angle and a rangy but not stratospheric reach, the Ripmo AF places riders centrally and upright over the bottom bracket. It makes for an efficient position that can go the long haul with­out placing too much weight on its slack, 64.9‑degree headtube angle.

Well that hurts, having just paid top dollar a few weeks ago for a Ripley. Hell of a sale. EDIT: removed a line where I questioned the legitimacy of the sale/site.
The Ripmo AF is very close to a standard Ripmo reimagined in aluminum, but with a few tweaks. The head tube angle is a degree slacker (64.9° vs the carbon Ripmo’s 65.9°), the reach is a few mm longer on some sizes, and rear travel has been bumped up a fraction to 147 mm, from 145 mm.
The Ibis Ripmo is a 29″ carbon or aluminum MTB with a long, slack frame ideal for trail riding. It features a 76-degree seat tube angle with extended reach to position the rider more directly over the pedals. The suspension includes Ibis’ Traction Tune Technology for fast compression and damping, delivering a smoother ride over rough terrain.

The Deore version of the Ibis Ripmo AF comes with a Shimano Deore M6100 12-speed drivetrain. This includes a cassette that has a hill-crushing 10-51T gear range that makes climbing and pedaling through rough terrain a breeze. Shimano Deore M6120 4-Piston hydraulic disc brakes provide excellent stopping power so you can descent with confidence.
Hey All, just received my Ibis Ripmo AF today in the mail through an Employee Purchase. It was shipped to me with a Marzocchi Bomber Z1 coil as opposed to the DVO Onyx. Although the Marzocchi is a fine fork, I mainly bought this bike for the DVO suspension setup, and am pretty bummed.
